Sesame Steak Sauce

Japanese Village’s iconic “Sesame Steak Sauce” follows a secretly guarded recipe since 1972, the inception of Edmonton’s oldest Japanese restaurant institution. Made with toasted sesame seeds, garlic, and soy among other spices, “Sesame Steak Sauce” has robust and savory flavors which pairs perfectly with red meats such as beef, bison and elk. Its tempting aroma, thick texture and rich flavor makes it perfect when just poured on top of rice as well.

Ginger Sauce

Carefully created with whole lot of finely minced ginger and onion, Japanese Village’s “Ginger Sauce” is like a Japanese chimchurri with a fresh and tart flavor profile. It is must have dipping for grilled vegetables, seafood, and chicken dishes. Try it mixed together with sriracha to add a spicy kick.

Apple Soy Vinaigrette

Simple is best with Japanese Village’s signature “Apple-soy Vinaigrette”. Made in house only with fresh apples, garlic, premium soy sauce and vinegar, the result is a smooth vinaigrette with the perfect balance of salty, sweet, and sour with a hint of garlic adding a dimension of depth. Pour it on your favorite blend of leafy greens or mix it with mayonnaise to make a delicious dip for vegetable sticks.
